A Study of Spiritual Disciplines

Disciplines of Devotion

Though salvation is a free gift that cannot be earned but is simply received by faith, we cannot ignore the command to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. D.L. Moody once said, “Salvation is like a goldmine. We must dig it out.” Disciplines of Devotion is a call for believers to exercise themselves toward godliness, that the gift of the new birth must be released through the process of sanctification, which involves citizenship, purification, mission and devotion. God has given us the great privilege of partnering with Him to accomplish His purposes. Will we discipline ourselves toward a deeper more robust commitment to our King?
