“Didn’t our hearts burn within us?” So exclaimed the two disciples who encountered the risen Jesus on the road to Emmaus in Luke chapter 24. Jesus had opened up the Scriptures to show how they all pointed to him, an experience that left a permanent impact on those disciples. As a community that is seeking this same Jesus, we have dedicated 90 days this Fall to discover the living Christ by reading through the entire New Testament. The Sunday teachings follow along with the 90 day plan, and explore who Jesus is and what it means to be a community of his followers. Our hearts can only catch fire if we draw close to the flame, so join us in the fellowship of the burning heart.
