The Apostles’ Creed is the most universally accepted affirmation of the basic beliefs that have united Christians throughout the world throughout the history of the Church, both Catholic and Protestant. The Creed helps to establish the boundaries of faith that separate orthodoxy from heresy, and emphasizes for us that to believe is to belong.
